Brynn D. Peltz and Jay M. Peltz bought a seven-bedroom, six-bath home at 23 Park Road in Scarsdale from Stephanie E. L. Kaplan for $2.9 million on Sept. 15.

Kaplan paid $2,475,000 for the property in June 2000. The 7,593-square-foot house is in the Scarsdale Central neighborhood.

Ms. Peltz is a corporate partner at Latham and Watkins LLP where she focuses her practice on financial regulatory and investment management.

Prior to joining Latham and Watkins, she worked with Clifford Chance U.S. LLP as a partner in the funds group. Before that, she was with Simpson Thacher and Bartlett LLP as senior counsel. She also was assistant general counsel and vice president in the investment management practice at Kidder, Peabody and Co. Inc.

She received her J.D. in 1988 from Cornell Law School and her B.S. in 1985 from Cornell University.

Mr. Peltz is a lawyer in Scarsdale.

He received his J.D. at Fordham University and his B.A. at the University of Wisconsin-Madison.

According to BlockShopper.com, there have been 127 home sales in Scarsdale during the past 12 months, with a median sales price of $1.0875 million.
