Abhay P. Deshpande and Meg Deshpande sold a five-bedroom, three-bath home at 311 Lyncroft Road in New Rochelle to David Heath and Jeannine Heath for $1.1 million on Nov. 13.

The Deshpandes bought the property for $775,000 on July 2002. The 3,134-square-foot house was built in 1927 in New Rochelle Central.

Mr. Deshpande is portfolio manager for global, overseas, U.S. value and gold funds at First Eagle Funds.

He previously was a research analyst with Harris Associates and analyst for Morningstar.

He graduated from the University of Louisville and holds a chartered financial analyst designation.

According to BlockShopper.com, there have been 259 home sales in New Rochelle during the past 12 months, with a median sales price of $534,125.
